IkoArtist

We at Ikosagon build a song brief from your clicks: three favorite artists, the themes you gravitate toward, and optionally who it’s for. The agentic Ikosagon engine produces the hit; tracks compete on a view-ranked leaderboard. Intake, brief, and anonymous finish are on the page. Generation runs in the pipeline, not as a live spend.

Guide

Welcome to IkoArtist. No account needed — we at Ikosagon build a song brief from your clicks: three favorite artists (the sound), the themes you gravitate toward, and, if you want, who it’s for. Tap answers; every step has an optional “add your own” and a skip. The agentic Ikosagon engine produces the hit over time (curated choices + adapting processes); results compete on a view-ranked leaderboard playlist. Finish without email anytime.

Problem

People should discover music they’d actually want to hear — and help shape a song Ikosagon makes for them — without creating an account, filling a CRM form, or leaving an email.

What this product is

A low-friction web product for almost anonymous song participation, powered by the agentic Ikosagon engine:

  1. Listen — a leaderboard-style playlist ranked by views. Better tracks rise as people listen.
  2. Build your song brief — click-first, in three layers, each step skippable with an optional “add your own”:
    • Sound: a short question tree to find your three favorite artists. You pick an anchor, answer a few questions about what that pick can’t explain (raw vs polished, words vs groove, mainstream vs underground, instrumentation, energy and tempo), then add a second artist close to the first and a third further out, and say what one has that another doesn’t. From that we compute a center (where your taste sits) and a range (how far your three picks spread).
    • Themes: tap the lyrical themes you gravitate toward (heartbreak, hustle, nostalgia, faith, party, escapism, social commentary and more). We compare them with theme tags on your artists’ best-known tracks and add a clearly dated chart context when a free public chart is reachable.
    • Audience (optional): coarse bands only — age band, region, language, listening contexts — with a plain note on why we ask. No account, nothing exact, and it stays out of the transcript.
  3. Get 3 track leans — one from the overlap of your three artists, one from each edge of your range, each with a written “why” built from the numbers
  4. Finish anonymously — no email needed. Your brief still feeds the agentic engine so a song can get made. It takes some time: curated choices plus adapting agentic processes produce the hit. Leave email only if you want opportunity follow-ups

Optional voice / photo are add-ons. Skip anytime. More answers → clearer signal. This page does not auto-spend on Suno / ElevenLabs / Gemini when you finish — generation and leaderboard ranking run in the product pipeline, not as a live click-to-generate meter here.

Principles

  • Product first: discover taste and participate in a song, not a heavy talent-CRM funnel
  • Low commitment — answer as many questions as you want
  • No account required; anonymous path works end-to-end
  • Agentic Ikosagon engine produces the hit (takes some time); curated choices + adapting processes
  • Leaderboard-style playlist by views — better tracks rise
  • Click web every step; free-text walls avoided (each step has an optional, length-capped “add your own”, sanitized, never required)
  • Honest data: the sound map is our editorial estimates, not measured audio features; the three “best tracks” per artist are our assumption, not stream data. Chart context comes from a free public iTunes feed, shows an as of date, and never shows ranks — no Chartmetric / Spotify premium, no invented chart ranks
  • Audience answers are bands only, anonymous, and kept out of the transcript
  • Anonymous finish is enough for the song path; email is optional (opportunities only)

Status

In progress. Leaderboard playlist player, the three-layer song-brief intake (sound, themes, optional audience), 3 leans with reasons, and anonymous finish (Resend summary with the structured brief for the song pipeline) are on this page. The taste map covers about 175 artists we wrote up by hand, so it is a starting point rather than a full catalog; track picks can also draw on Last.fm’s free public most-played data when that connection is on, and the brief always says which source it used. The agentic engine producing hits and view-ranked leaderboard behavior are what visitors should expect — not a claim that every finish triggers live generation on this page.

Optional next step

Want opportunity follow-up?

Anonymous is fine: answer as many questions as you want, get 3 track leans, and that signal still feeds the agentic Ikosagon engine so a song can get made. Leave an email only if you want opportunity follow-ups. This page does not auto-spend on Suno, ElevenLabs, or Gemini.

Low commitment — more answers → clearer signal. Tracks compete on a view-ranked leaderboard. No account. No invented public prices.
